will failGS-06gs1

Scanner returns GS1 data with the brackets included

The brackets are being encoded into the barcode itself. The scanner returns (01)00012345678905 instead of 0100012345678905 — and it scans, so nothing looks wrong until the receiving system rejects it.

Use ^BC mode D, which strips the brackets and inserts the FNC1 characters.

Neither ^PW nor ^LL is set. Both fall back to a value stored in the individual printer, not to a value in the spec — so the same ZPL prints differently on two printers of the same model.

Set ^PW and ^LL explicitly in every format.

Silent, and it still scans. Only mode D strips them.
